Blessings as you keep going

In this strange, hard, monotonous,

Heartbreaking season.

Blessings as you change your mind

And your emotions every few minutes

Wanting to sleep for a year

and go on an adventure

All at the same time.

Blessings as you grieve

And get pissed

And are okay

And are not.

Blessings as you try to do the right thing

By embracing a new normal

Whilst craving some normality.

Blessings as you try to find firm ground

Whilst the world crumbles underfoot.

Blessings as you watch a new world

Emerge from the ashes.
